Hi Dawn, if you bought Blue from a reputable breeder, then they are the best person to give advice on this. The breeder will help you to get the relevant health screening done, and advise, depending upon the results. You might find though that the best stud dog for Blue might be far from local though. I found that £1000 was about the right amount of money to set aside for fees and expenses, but that's not including the possibility of vet fees for caesarian section delivery.
