Topic Dog Boards / Feeding / 6 month old FAT cocker

I am looking after my friends dogs a 2 year old and a 6 month old american x english cocker.  They are both on JWB the 6 month old on puppy and the 2 year old on adult. The pup IMO is fat but then he is a greedy little sod and will eat everyone elses dinner if he gets the chance  (I will get to my point in a minute  )

Ok my question is ....... I have nearly run out of his puppy food, shall I go buy another bag or just stick him on adult ?

I usually take my puppies off puppy food by the time they are 6months old and start them on adult. If he is a little bit fat it might help him lose some weight as well.

I have the same problem...I have a 4 1/2 month old 'blob' who is entered for his first champ show in approx 7 weeks...at this rate I will be rolling him round the ring.

:D :D :D  @ your blob rolling round the ring Archer !

Its strange isnt it because my 14 week old Setter is so skinny it looks like I dont feed him  when in reality he gets more than he should
