I bought a packet of seafood sticks at the fish counter in tescos for the dogs and they loved them. Are they okay to feed to the dogs thanks

I've never actually fed any to Spice on purpose, but when I dropped one she got to it before me! and ate it then looked for more! she adores anything remotely fishy tasting!
We feed her tuna occasionally and the smell of it turns my stomach,so I have to open the tin, drain off the oil and dish it up whilst trying to hold onto my nose or hold my breath, not an easy task :D
I love the seafood sticks tho' chopped and added to a little mayo in a sandwich or served on a jacket spud :D not too fattening either! but the quality of them varies from shop to shop!
Sorry I haven't really answered your question as to 'are they okay to feed to dogs' but it would be useful to know,I expect someone else will be along shortly to tell us :)

Don't know what is in them, if it is just fish it would be fine but they do seem highly coloured and I am not sure about that.
hi i once got crab sticks when i read the pack it said that they were cod with flavourings

ive given them to mine before, but not reguarly.

They are made from "Surimi" which is basically minced fish! My dogs and cats love them.

with a few preservatives and colourings thrown in..................
My husband, who is 'anything fish' mad, had them once and they made him ill for several days so now he won't touch them since they are not 'real fish' he says although I have never fed them to the dogs. Mind you I would quite happily feed him to the dogs at times!!
