Just wanted to say thanks to Marie and chinablue for there lovely words and advice and info on kidney failure, Chinablue the website you suggested is brilliant and has so much info and encouragement(more than my vet gave me) and now i can go back to her and ask more questions, i will get an ultrasound done to see how damaged her kidney are and we can go from there.  Was a little worried that Hills K/D is high in phosphorous so not sure whether to keep up with that as suggested by the vet or do my own home receipes as you  have done. Sky my baby is fine, you would think there is nothing wrong with her still playing with her toys and running around the garden, leaking has not happend for a couple of days now which i suppose is a good sign, not sure if this is because we are onnm the hills, will take her back to Vet to check levels again in 2 weeks time, i have also been recommended by a friend to visit a homeopathic vet which could be interesting and i think best to keep all our options open, will also mention to mky vet to see what she says.  Thanks so much for your help Nataliex
