I have a tibetan terrier & I want to start clipping him myself. He is a pet only & want to keep his hair about 2" long in a "pet trim".
Can anyone advise me on suitable clippers & blades.

I also own two tibetans and I also am a dog groomer.
I would suggest either Laube or Oster clippers. Using a #9 blade with a long comb attachment. I find they fit on a #9 blade with no problem, even though the makers advise using a #15 or shorter, as long as the coat is knot free.
