hi all...im collecting my 8 week old bullmastiff pup in a couple of weeks, and would like to use a car harness while travellin in the car (not on the day when i collect him though!!!!!)...does anyone have any advice on how to get him used to the harness etc????...he will be travellin with me daily...school runs etc..does anyone use a harness on a young pup?...any advice would be most welcome.......thanks

I use a harness on my pup and have done since he was 8 weeks old.  I didnt really "get him used to it" I just put it on him and chucked him in the car ;)  He is fine with it, just falls asleep on the back seat.   I suppose all pups are different though I can imagine some might really hate it.  Why not pop it on him when feeding him or playing so he associates it with something good ?
