Someone from a large reputable kennels in the Cz Rep wants to buy a puppy to show in Europe, which is great but how much trouble will it be to export? I know I will have to keep him for 12weeks, get an export cert from DEFRA etc, but I am worried about the extra costs involved, and how much extra to charge. The lady will come and visit to choose a puppy, so I will get to meet her before hand, and she wants to know how much deposit to leave etc? Should I insist that she collect him when he is ready? I need to decide before she arranges to come over here as she will go to a lot of  expense and I dont want to waste her time.I could easily sell the puppy to another excellent home but, I really would like to see him campaigned in Europe. What have others done in this situation? I would appreciate your views.
PLEASE NOTE: I DO NOT HAVE ANY PUPS FOR SALE!

Hi, when ever we are exporting a pup, we fix the price (based on our usual price plus something for the additonal time we will be keeping the pups) and then charge for all the Vets visits, shipping,  Etc at costs, plus something for mileage.  We keep all the bills etc, and advise the buyer along the way of the costs as the occur.  This has worked without problem so far.  I do like it best if the buyer can come over and collect,  yo will need to find out which airling will carry animals to the proposed destination, and see if they will ship alone, or if they insist on a person travelling on the same flight.  Hope some of this helps
bye
