I'm looking after my friends dog Emma for two weeks, whilst she is away on holiday, I'm a bit   concerned about Emma as yesterday I  found her eating her own  poo, I've  been told that this is a stress thing, but i would feel happier if anyone out there can advise me as to wether this is true and how to help her, thankyou polly

Some dogs just do this, stressed or not!  You can try adding some canned, crushed pineapple to her food, the 'output" from this often prevents them from carrying on the habit.

bye

Keep an eye open and pick it up as soon as she does it, and don't worry, it is not stress, to a dog it is normal behaviour, and all bitches clean up after their pups. It is only us that it revolts.
