Hi , I was wondering if anyone could tell me how much atarax  antihistamine to give a dog of 20kilos, I am giving, one tablet twice a day, but she is still itchy, when I read how much piriton people were giving, I was not giving enough, so this could be why piriton did not work for me, anyone any thoughts pls. eleanor

Wasn't your atarax percribed by your vet? As my dogs was, and they worked out the correct dose there for me.

Hi yes it was prescribed by my vet, but they don't alway's get it right;;;; I was told to give molly one piriton three times a day, and from this list and other lists, other peoples vets have told them to give higher doses, I just wondered what other people were giving, because if the dose is too low they don't work ?  regards eleanor
