Just wanted to know.
If your dogs have kennel cough, and one or two get rid of it quicker than the rest. Is there a chance they can catch it again, before the others completely get over it.
Just wondering because my 4 have it, they have all been put on antibiotic's, but all started the symptoms on different days, so some will finish antibiotic's before the others. I wouldn't like to think they picked it up again. It could be a vicious circle.

Hi, Mabe, once one of your dogs have gotten rid of the kennel cough, try seperating them so thet they donot get it again. It may become a vicious circle
Hope it Helps

If it's viral, then they will be immune to that strain and won't catch it again. However there are many strains of the virus.

Hiya mitch,
I think before you do anything, like separating them, before the one that got it 1st runs out of antibiotics, go see your vet and enquire about problem you think will occur.
try searching on the net for kennel cough, they are bound to have FAQ about the problem.
