Emma milne is off again slating bulldogs.says she's never met a healthy one! she's a b****y vet she should know she only deals with animals when they are ill!the little white dog thats on the telly buster they didnt say where it came from so it is very likly it came from a backyard breeder (their previous dog only lived 6months)now shes jumped to the dachshund and said don't waste your money on a pedigree get a mongrel!!!! i bet she see's as many problems in the so called healthy 'mongrel' but then she wouldnt be able to moan about purebreds then!

There will be an article on GMTV tomorrow
think its on at 7.10 and 8.20am,
bulldog rescue are being visited and will tell the other side of the story

What I found so annoying is IF those people were so against a certain breed
(bulldog and dachshunds) why did they go out and buy another
and in the case of the dachs she had 6.

We are all to have mongrels and not bother with pedigrees of any description
as far as Emma know it all Milne.......who as a vet will on the whole only
get to see ill dogs...............not many take a healthy dog to the vet :-)

I have a pedigree because I like to know roughly what Im getting
I have nothing against mongrels but its nice to know a few traits your dog may show
and what size temprement (generally) it should be.
I bet even people with mongrels choose a dog that is pleasing to THEIR eye
(black dogs are harder to rehome in a rescue on the whole)

Off my soap box now but it wont be long before its YOUR breed they are slating next.

Actually, when I think about it, my vet has seen my dogs on a great many more occasions when they are well than when they are ill :)

Could have sworn that was a Border Collie she was playing with in the last scene though.... in fact I remember from Vets in Practice she had one..... so much for only buying mongrels....!

cant stand the woman!

bought litter brothers, from a farm, no health checks done i would imagine, and for such a 'great' vet, was then in an advertising feature for some low fat dog food (hills more than likely) because one of the two was grossly overweight!

i aint a vet, but i know when my dogs are the right weight!!!!!
