Does anyone have any opinions of the original vet bed fleece's, opposed to the use of the cheaper type, do you think that the cheaper fleece keeps the pups as dry as Vet bed, as Britney had her pups today, 1 week early but they are fine, and content, but the old vet bedding is getting tatty and want to get it sorted as soon as possible

Hi, I just buy mine from any of the show suppliers, and I find they are all effective.  However, I do have the odd problem wiht the original Vet Bed, when new, it is a little thicker than some of the others, and the size I need for my Whelping box makes it a struggle to fit into the Washing Machine until it has flattened a little.

Well personally I like the quality of the Profleece bedding best.

Like everything else, I think you get what you pay for. I like Profleece too.

I have profleece but despite my best efforts the bitch won't have anything in the whelping cage with her other than the pups!  So my friend's, who's bitch and pups they are, puppies sliding around on a plastic cage base and learning to walk very well at only 3 wks, so much for thinking they'd take a bit longer before I had to move them downstairs, don't think my vinyl will be much of a problem to them either lol.

Just checked mine, and wouldnt you know it, am using Profleece at the moment (pink, coz Mabel had 3 girls :) )its says it is chewproof too!  As none of mine chew the vet bed that didnt really register with me too much.

Profleece for me too we use it for our own dogs  and in the rescue kennels  the cheaper ones dont last as long.

i use the profleece bedding to, my pup seems to chew everything she gets in her mouth, but obviouly she doesnt like the texture or something becasue she put  it in her mouth and spat it out with a look of disgust on her face!!

I've got the Bronteglen version which is on offer.  It seems to wash well and was reasonably priced.  No problems noticed so far.  Weight for weight it compares with Profleece I believe.
