Libby ( pup with the face of an angel ) has ran into the house with her latest friend -
a snail!!
She has cracked the shell open and now its just lying there on her little doggy duvet all mangled and disgusting and I cant move it as I have a "thing" about them :(
*Shudder*

your friends little boy would be right...they are actually slugs with shells on! because a shelless snail is a slug - it was a quiz question the other week.

Just to update-
Libbys new friend has now vacated the premises much to my relief
(although I had to offer a financial bribe to oldest son to evict the "friend")  :o

Not wishing to sound over dramatic here - but can't dogs get lungworm from snails?

Both my retrievers scrunch them up and eat them.Should I be worried?
