my 2 1/2 year old english bulldog has not been eating the whole day not even her favorite treats. havent seen her this way before. i dont think i've given her anything unusual. she doent seem to have any energy at all, and walks very slowly. she looks ill. she had her normal bathroom visits. she also seems to be whizzing when she breathes and earlier she was slightly shaking. She puked a brownish and yellowish discharge a couple times.Does anyone have an idea what this could be? i'm really worried because my dog has never been sick since we had her as a pup apart form her allergies. Please advice me.

As your dog is unwell take her to the vet ASAP, there is no way we can really tell over the net and even similar symptoms could have a different cause. So I would always say if your dog is unwell then the vets is the place to go first.

she is doing a lot better today. she is eating with her amazing appetite and back to her normal energy. i tried to go to the vet today but they said they dont have anything available until over the weekend. all the weird symptoms seems to be gone. she just woke up today a new dog. i wonder what that could have been. thanks for the advice

Very pleased to hear that she is better, I always think that if a dog is depressed then a trip to the vet is needed. A short bout of stomach upset would not worry me but if that continued or if the vomiting was regular and a large amount then again I would be off the vet. And if my dog had several symptoms, then the vet is needed. I would still take her for a check up if you have no idea what was wrong.

i will be seeing the vet tomorrow. she doesnt seem to have a lot of energy today. she has a good appetite though and goes to the bathroom regularly. she just seems to not have energy to get up the stairs or to her favorite chair, or other tasks that requires energy,i kinda need to help her, and she is not running or in her excited mood. and seeing the vet will help me have peace of mind. shes long due for an annual anyway.

It certainly sounds that all is not well, the English Bulldog is normally a bounce sort of dog and if that is how she was and now she is depressed, it is being caused by something and that something needs to be found. Good luck with the vet and hope it is some thing like an infection that can be sorted with the right medication in 24 hours. Was going on to make other suggestions but it would be best to wait for the vet to look at her.
