At the moment i have a 5 month old rotti (male) and a 3 month yorki (female) and in a few months we will be looking to add to our family with a dobi and would like to know if they would get on and what would people advise to buy a female or a male

I would think at the moment that you've got more than enough to cope with.  If it was me I would wait a while before getting another dog, at least another 14 months or so.

Rotties and Dobies are not the easiest of breeds and I would think having two at the same time at such a young age would be hard work.  I'm sure that people with the breeds would be able to advise you better than I can.

Keep us up-dated regarding your two youngsters.
