Not for a baby but another puppy I went to a doberman show today and there were lots of puppies there  you forget how small they are all legs but I know that I will have to wait at least 10mths before I can consider it, enough time to persuade OH we need another one. I must say everyone was really friendly I brought Bronwyn with me as whenever we see a doberman even if she knows it she tells its owner that they have stolen her Abby today she was really confused but by the end of the day she was asking people nicely or trying to at least( she has problems with her speech) if she could say hello to their dogs and now she realises that there are more than one black and tan dobe.

Sounds like you had a lovely day. So Bronwyn, hasn't learnt how to "selectively steal" Doberman pups for the day then ;)

What will your next one be then dog or bitch and what name and colour are you considering 10 months moves faster than you think :)

Dobes seem to be getting popular again or is it just I know some and keep seeing em?  Start employing the womanly wiles now as 10 months flies. :D I enjoy shows but still find it hard to navigate the rings, understand all the lines etc so I try to keep quiet and tag along with a knowledgable pal. Tips on how to get more from a show welcome..

There was one there that she wanted to take but she is only three so couldnt pick it up and carry it away well at least now she is telling daddy she wants another dobe(cant say her own name but can say doberman)she was trying to give it the toys we had bought for Abby. We are hoping to get a rescue dobe dont know what to get next dog or bitch pros and cons to both, have to convince OH its a good idea first he is not really a dog person.
