Shes 12.5 weeks, been with us for four and a half. No change in food or water, no change in bedding. We were out earlier and it was very sunny, could it be the sun?
Were at a puppy party last night and she was very tired.
Cant think of anything else unusual. She has had diareeha but no sickness, her nose is cool and wet.
Help?

I would get her to the vet to be on the safe side..it could be the sun or parvo, could be anything :(
Good luck do hope nothing seroius.

Or it could be nothing, always best to see a vet sooner with a puppy, if there is nothing wrong there is nothing is lost except the vets fees and if there is, the the sooner it is treated the better.

Thank you all very much for replying. It was the heat, she was in need of hydration. Totally recovered today and running as normal. I did call my dad last night for advice, he helped a lot and suggested a few ways of helping her. We (OH) got up early this morning to check that she was ok and she was fine.
Such a relief. Today will be planned much different to yesterday to keep her out of the sun and only walk for 15min when its cool.

The heat makes my pup off colour too ......... so we bought him a paddling pool, he loves it and spends all his time jumping in and out of it (no matter what the weather  ) and soaking everything in shaking distance

Such a good idea :) Is it a special type of pool or just a kiddies one? I'll look into getting one for Sally.

Its a normal kiddie one from toys R us - dont get a blow up one though for obvious reasons :D :D :D

Unfortunately it is not just the heat per se that is a problem but the humidity. Dogs, like most animals, have even a harder time of it during hot and humid weather as their cooling mechanisms are so inefficient.
we have a paddling pool for my lab but the little devil has made a hole in it
Heidi

Thats why Fagan spends most of his time soaked to the skin, if he doesnt want to go in his pool we soak him with the hose - he loves it :D :D
I spent 6 weeks in africa with 40+ degree heat everyday and 95% humdity, it was hell (well a nice hell ;) ) It was the humidity that got us though, I ended up in hospital with dehydration when my eyelids fused together (another story  )

It's the heat, with or without humidity. Having been in Las Vegas last week, where they were having unseasonably cool Spring weather (90 F) at 6 percent humidity .. I can assure you, it's the heat.
