Can somebody advise me please ?.
Today, out of the blue I've been unable to send/receive e.mails with outlook express. The message comes up (I've changed the name & address obviously)..........
There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: '****.****.net', Server '****.****.net', Protocol: POP3, Server Response;-ERR Login failed'.,Port 110, Secure (SSL): No, Server Error 0x800CCC90, Error Number 0x800CCC92.
I would appreciate it if somebody could point me in the right direction !.

If you go to whom ever is your internet supplier and find out your password
then re-enter your password just in case you have accidently deleted or added a word.
Then re-enter it.
If you are with NTL then for days they have been playingup.

Do you have a blueyonder address? I got this message last week and it was a fault with Blueyonder. You can check up by going into Blueyonder home page, clicking on help and support, and there is a message from the tech. support to say that some people may experience difficulties accessing their email.

Thanks both - no I'm not with either of those providers and I know my password is right and I haven't changed it. I'll try their home page.

Now I just feel stupid !!!!
Had a look at my providers website and sure enough - they are experiencing problems with e.mail !.

We had this at work this week and we are with BT,so it seems to be a server problem :( It came back early yesterday morning,then we got nearly 2000,yes 2000 virus and junk emails on the system! took ages for them to download and then we had to sort the genuine from the 'trash'.

weve to had trouble with outlook express with user number and pass word being correct spoken to a help desk type woman who checked all details and confirmed them as correct.and gave us this number 09063023456 and said ring them the technical team just have`nt found a minute to do it yet! s baxter
