Have seen Frolic on the sheelves of supermarkets and pet shops, what are your views on this food if you have tried it as I was thinking of mixing some in, to add flavour and texture with my dogs dry food.

There aren't many dog foods available in supermarkets that I would feed to my dogs - I stick to Naturediet and offer Burns or Nutro as low value treats. Don't fall into the trap of believing that dogs need 'added flavour or texture' (especially if you are already feeding a dry food which then eat) - dogs don't have taste buds in the same way we do (which probably explains a lot of the things they *do* eat....) So long as what you are feeding is nutritionally complete, there shouldn't be any need to add anything unless prescribed by a vet.

I think Frolic is an excellent product............................. for weighing down sandbags, filling holes in the ground and as a possible WMD.
Also it is an excellent product (one can hardly call it food) for making sure my dog ingested enough additives, colourings, sugars and salt to guarantee problems.

I take that as a no to Frolic then!!!
So that is where they had hidden their WMD then...my husband said they couldn't be find any when he was in the Gulf War last year!!..
Cheers for that Tohme a great description for a so called dog food!!

Off the subject, but it brought a little story to mind:
My Granny had a GSD/Collie cross who died last year at the ripe old age of 18. He was fed his whole life on Baxters Wild Game soup! Sometimes she would give him some mince and tatties as a treat :)
There's a lot to be said for hybrid vigour! :D
