id love to know my family tree but i think inmycase it may bring alot of shocks to the family!

It's a fascinating hobby :) I recently confirmed longstanding family rumours that my grandfather's brother witnessed a bomb explosion in the Houses of Parliament in 1885 (I found the report of the subsequent court case in which he gave evidence). Also another cousin of my grandfather was the subject of a blackmail case - he had been lured into the bedroom of a young lady (he was a married man) and some men took photos and then tried to blackmail him (this was back in 1921) :D

my OH just found out his father who died 3 years ago was married before and he has 2 brothers and 3 sisters..only living 8 miles away, he found out when going through records at the records office ....he is very much in touch with them all and they have welcomed him into the family with opened arms :) so you never know what your gonna find :)
