Just out of interest......

Do you people with multiple dogs have a favourite?  I honestly don't think that I do.  I love my Staff Jack because he is always pleased to see me and he loves to snuggle up with me plus he is so handsome it hurts!!  Also because he is so gentle and lovely a real gentleman!  BUT I love Poppy my bulldog because she is so comical when her little tail wiggles when we go to see her, and I love hearing her snore and she pulls such funny faces. 
Also do your dogs have favourite people?  I got Jack for my partner because he had always wanted a staffy but he definately prefers me!  Probably because he gets away with more with me, he will always sit with me over Shaun and he has a special tail wag just for me (well whole body wag anyway!)  Now Poppy on the other hand who is MY dog is bizzare.  Bear in mind that I feed her, water her, walk her, groom her, play with her, feed her delicious treats, and basically care for her every need, Shaun comes home from work and flops down and she sits at his feet gazing adoringly up at him.  She will sit next to him on the sofa and glares at me if I make a move to sit next to him.  Sometimes on a morning she will sneak past me when I get up to let them out, streak up the stairs and climb into bed next to him and I can't shift her for anything!!  He loves it and I feel like "the other woman!"  Am I being paranoid??  They fall asleep together and it's so cute.  It's been like that since the day we got her, but I've a feeling she was mis treated by a woman, also I do all the not so nice stuff too, like putting her to bed, getting her up in the morning, cleaning her face wrinkles and putting vaseline on her nose.  Not that it bothers me really, I like to see my family happy, I just find it really weird!  ANyone else have dogs like this?

I wouldn't say I had a favourite out of my two pests!  Nanuk was my 'first born' so she will always have a special place in my heart!  I love them both equally.  She likes to snuggle on the sofa with me in the evenings and sleep on my feet in bed.  Tundra is too lazy to jump on the sofa and the bed......he tries, but ends up with his front paws up and he justs falls asleep like it!  (anyone else have lazy Malamute!?)  Nanuk treats my OH like her 'bitch'!  As soon as he gets home from work, she jumps on his leg and goes for it!  She never does this to me luckily.....she's trying to prove her dominance but knows that she cannot do it with me!

I think we all love our dogs for different reasons my eldest cavalier is a real live wire and loves plenty of attention.... then sweet little bonnie never asks for much and has big sad eyes awwwww and the pup well I bred her and she has a special place in my heart I watched her from lump in belly through to whelping box and grown then into a real little lady ,,,,,
