hi just wondering if anyone wanted to give me any advise on wheather or not to breed my bitch? she is a boxer puppy (a very good 1) & my husband & i are wondering if we should let her have a litter or to get her done?? help

You would need to be very clear with your motives for breeding. First of all, how old is she, and how do you know she is a 'very good one'?

How do you know shes a very good one...has she won consistantly at championship shows? Has she had her health tests done and got excellent results?

Think the fact that you are asking 'breed or not' means you should not. It is hard work, can be very expensive and if the very worse happens you can loose your bitch and may be the pups as well or finish up having to hand rear a litter, never really satisfactory.

I think its a very romantic notion to have a litter from your bitch but in reality its not, from listening to those who have experienced it .
I have never bred and having just brought a bitch pup into my family I have no intentions of breeding either. I have no experience , I wouldnt have a clue what to do if something were to go wrong and couldnt bear to part with the puppies anyway
I think we should leave it to the experts who know what to look for when breeding
