I changed my 19 month old weimaraner bitch over to a natural diet from pedigree about 8 weeks ago. At first things were going ok however over the past 2 weeks she has become very fussy and will not touch raw meat or bones. She will eat Natures Menu mince and fish such as sardines and pilchards but this is not enough for her and she seems very hungy. She seems to only want to eat cooked meat such as fresh chicken or liver (we only tried this in her kong and do not give readily). She only weighs 51lbs and is very lean and so we do need to get her feeding. I have ordered her some essential vitamins and do include eggs and natural yohurt in her diet. I do not think I can feed her on cooked meat alone (if at all) but am not sure. Can anyone advise?

you can feed cooked meet as long as you feed other things too. when on the barf diet, you need a varity of things. i feed my dog something called "chicken soup for the dog lover's soul" (long name, huh?lol) anyhow, it is a dry food, however, it is 100% organic and good for him. anyhow, sometimes dogs prefer that dry food. my mom tried to feed her shelty the raw diet, and he hated it. she switched to a food called "wellness" (another organic dog food) and he loves it. anyhow, check it out on internet. there is a ton of info on dog food, natural and/or not.
