In 1998 we rescued a very very bedraggled chow from a dogs hom in Harpur Hey Manchester.  He was it was supposed aged 4-5.  With tender love and care he grew to be the most adorable creature and we lost him to Cancer at aged 11.  We then purchased a pup and had a wonderful friend and companion.  He adored us and all our children and grandchildren he was so very loyal.  Cancer again aged 11.  This was in late March this year.  He was cremated as was the first and is now at home.  We are having so much difficulty at present trying to find yet another chow and there seems to be a scarcity over the time we purchased Mulligan and now.  Please please can someone help.  Everyone has now left home and there is a void in the house.  We have so much love and caring to offer.  Pup would not want for anything.   Thankyou

Sorry to hear about your Chow - they are real characters aren't they?
Have you been in contact with any of the Chow breed clubs? - they are all listed at the bottom of the page here
