Am going to visit friend of my sisters today, who is in a state of crisis over the families new puppy - he is a Lhasa, not yet 16 weeks, and appears to have dirsupted the household to an incredible degree! Their 11 year old daughter has had her feet chewed so much they are shredded, all the new kitchen units have been chewed round the base, and he is terrorising them all with growling and snarling! I am trying to be very calm and sensible about all this, and not fall apart laughing hysterically ;) :) So I am preparing the new puppy owner talk, and hope to be able to guide them through all the usual steps. Unfortunatley, the breeder has been unable to give the promised follow up help as she is ill, and I think he has been allowed to get away with murder, including demanding to be taken out to the toilet at least 6 times every night! It seems very obvious who has done the most effective training in this house, and its certainly not the humans!
Wish me luck.
bye
