I am looking for a yorkshire terrier female.  Has to be a puppy 6/8 weeks old. I live in Birmingham, can anyone tell me where I can get one from.
Many Thanks

Hi guest, can't help with your requirements but thought I would let you know that it is unlikely that any responsible breeder would let a puppy go at 6 weeks and even 8 is unlikely unless you are an experienced owner of many years standing. The normal age is much nearer 12 weeks although some will go at 10. This is just because of the size and you are right larger breeds go to new homes at 8 weeks but even then it is not good practice to let the go before except in certain circumstances.

I got my first yorkie at 8 weeks, no problems at all. They are becoming increasingly difficult to find though. The best thing would be to either contact the Kennel Club or one of the Breed Clubs. Good luck in finding one.
