Hi,

I have a similer situation going on at home at the moment.  I have just become the proud owner of a 8 month rottie bitch.  She is so pretty but the day after we bought her she has come into season and there is a little blood but she is cleaning an awful lot!!  How about 3 in the morning to clean yourself and wake my girlfriend up, I can sleep through it but my girlfriend makes a point of waking me up to!!  Charming.  The place we bought her told us she had not had her first season yet and such is my luck the very next day it started.  She has been highly trained by the people we bought her from and when we went to visit her during training she was so good and loving.  Now she is a little more stuborn and tends to distance herself in another room from us?  Having said that she has only lived with us for about 3 days so I am tending to put this down to settling in.  What else can I expext from her mood/behaviour.

Thanks for your advice,
Paul.

My 9 month old cocker spaniel has just came into season for the first time, she didn't give me any signs what so ever,  but my 11 month old who is also in season was swollen for a couple of days before having any sort of colouring, plus she was really grumpy for about a month before
