Just had to post this because im proud of my little boy - he's 4 months now and weve had him from 11 weeks

He mastered his toilet training, there is occasionally an accident but that could be forgiven, mastering this was no mean feat for him as he comes to work with us, so as well as home he had to master the office + my parents and OH's paren'ts houses.

After some initial problems in the car (being sick) and shaking he is now a little angel on the back seat with his car harness, touch wood he hasn't had an accident since hes been on the seat rather than in the cage.

He's also doing well with sit, down etc and we are woking on stay and heel... he's also brilliant off lead.

Yesterday he went to his puppy party, he was pretty scared of the other dogs but got more confident the longer we were there and then we went off to the park for their canine capers day, where he got his first rosette for coming in the top 6 in the best puppy class out of 30 or so other pups.

And after all that im now feeling incredibly guilty because i got his foot shut in the car door this morning :( he is ok, he stopped crying fairly quickly, and isnt limping anymore and it doesnt seem to hurt him to touch it but if there are any signs of problems he will be straight off to the vets.

anyway just thought i would let you all know how he is getting on

Wierd, wierd parallels, GreatBritGirl! I got my puppy at the same time that you got Leo (I remember your excited thread), and my boyfriend phoned me at lunch today nearly in tears because he'd accidentally fallen on Bam while playing with him in the garden. He was limping, but my boyfriend just phoned and says he seems fine now. We're still going to the vet tonight, though, just to be on the safe side. We're supposed to be starting puppy classes tomorrow, too!
