Topic Dog Boards / Health / Canine Chiropractors?
- By John [gb] Date 16.05.04 17:21 UTC
Does any one know of any canine chiropractors in the Bucks, Berks, Hants area? A friend has a lovely Golden with a back problem. It is definitely not hips, (3/3) in fact it gives the impression of a slipped disk. The vet has put the dog on Rimaydl for a "Couple of weeks to see how it goes". Running your hand along the spine he tells me, you can feel a lump, as if a disk is displaced. Having used a chiropractors on his own back he is keen to see if one can do anything for his dog.

Best wishes, John

Wantage is on the Berks/Oxon/Wilts borders, if it's any help, John.   My sister has used this guy for her labs, and says he is wonderful!

Sounds perfect. The Golden is only at Maidenhead so it's not far away.

Thanks a lot, John

My friend had serious problems with her BC with a prolapsed disc.
Christopher Day the homoeopathic vet in Faringdon has been fantastic
and her BC is making a fabulous recovery with his help and without the need for surgery.

Also can try the McTimoney Chiropracter group as some of these chiropracters do work on animals too

Hi John
My 14 year old cavalier is another Chris Day fan......he gives her acupuncture and chiropractic treatment.......we are convinced she would not still be with us, if it were not for this man.
Good Luck
Sam

Thanks Sam. That's certainly a good recommendation! There is no better recommendation than word of mouth. :)

Best wishes, John
