I bred my girl April 1,2 and 4, so today she is 45 days from her first breeding. Her Teats are big ,she sleeps all the time, but I dont think that her tummy has grown all that much. I am starting to think that maybe it didnt take? She is a Boston Terrier.

My bitch (cocker spaniel) is really showing and is 5 weeks! The moment she eats something it seems there isn't room for both pups and food under her ribcage and she blows up like a balloon! She has increased her girth by 3" in the past week or so.

Well, its hard to say, it really depends on the Breed I don't know much about Boston Terriers, But I know Staffordshire Bull Terriers its very hard...:) You could alway go and have an Ultra Sound done ;)... that way you will see straight away:)I Normally have an Ultra Sound done on my Babys after 28days...
jellybean,
i must agree, it's so hard to tell with the staffordshire bull terriers.
i bred my 2 bitchies last year who are sisters, and they showed complete different signs!
1 bitch started showing at approx 45 days(she had 4 puppies)
2nd bitch didn't show until the morning of whelp!(she had 7)
LUCY
all the best with your bitch!
the enlarged teats is probably enough to say that shes in pup
keep your fingers crossed,
