I have been reading posts and have noticed that there are a few staffordshire bull terrier breeders on this forum.  Can someone tell me what the average weight is for a newborn sbt puppy.  What would be classed as small?  What would be classed as big?

    Might be a little while ago but back in the 80's breed two litters same dam and sire,
1st litter
5 pups 1 pup born dead.
Dog  12ozs
Bitch 11ozs
Bitch 10.5ozs
Bitch 10ozs .

2nd Litter
7 pups all alive
Dog 140zs
Dog 13ozs
Bitch 13ozs
Bitch 10ozs
Dog  13ozs
Dog 13ozs
Dog 10ozs
I would think these are average weights for pups, but other may disagree, all the pups ended up at 7 weeks very similar no runts but dogs bigger than the bitches.
