Hi,

I'm showing my boxer at SKC on Friday and was wondering if there is any way to tell if dogs or bitches will be first in the ring? Lolly gets tired if she has to wait a long time before her class and if I could tell if she was in the morning or afternoon we would be able to judge better when to arrive. Boxers have only one ring and one judge. :)

Dogs are always judged before bitches, when there is one judge for both sexes. You will have to make a guess at the time bitches will be in, based on the entry numbers, there are 126 Boxers entred. You are in ring 3 from 9.30am. I wouldn't like to risk wasting the journey and £21 entry by being too late and missing my class.

Will she not rest on her bench for the most part?

That's really helpful :) We won't risk missing the class by coming too late but about 10 or half past should be fine to arrrive shouldn't it? It will make the day a bit shorter for pup not having to be on her bench from 9.

Yes Jen, 10 or 10.30 won't be a problem. In fact bitches probably won't be in till after lunch, but I never risk over estimating times. Anyway I like to be there early so as I don't miss anything. I like to watch the early judging, plus I hate pulling my trolley across the SKC carpark, it's so uneven, so I hate being too far back.
