just to say thankyou to digger for advice about crate for chihuahua. i wasnt clear on what i meant about crate when visitors call. i actually meant work being done on house .etc. i was advised by breeder to get one for this purpose. other visitors will be interacting with pup .naturally, but there maybe times when i need the crate and my breeder gave brilliant advice to get a crate as in a few weeks i will have some builders in and out for a few days. i actually ordered the large crate and it will be here by the weekend, the breeder was excellent on socialising and had us visit pup two or more times befpre collection. dont worry digger i will love him to bits and take good care of him . he is coming to a large family. four teenagers and two g.s.d. hence the crate. thankyou again .
