Hi Alli
I hope you're not going on Sunday, because Gundog day is Saturday :D I'll be there with one Italian Spinone.
Good luck everyone!
Lesley
I'm going on Saturday, too, with one of my Munsters.

Lesley,
I must come & meet you...Claire goes without saying I'll bump into you!!!!! At least your handling skills won't be needed on Saturday! ;)

Christine, yes, we must meet! You'll recognise me from the fact its Cadmus the Prat that's entered, so I'll be the Spin exhibitor with the pained expression and gritted teeth :D I'll pop over to Munsters if we're finished in the ring before you :)
Lesley
I'll be there on Friday with my Beardies. The weather forecast is for WARM weather, which will be a nice change for SKC !!!!

Hi Lesley
Hmm I wonder when my OH was going to tell me that lol. Probably on Sunday morning. As it is his job to do the entries I'll have to kick his backside for giving me the wrong information. I suppose I should know better than to trust a man with important information tho ;) Hmm theres me thinking I had all day Sat to do my bathing and grooming, well I can now see a very long night ahead of me on Friday :(
Thanks for the info

Hi Alli
Don't be too hard on him (although generally I'm always in favour of being hard on OH's when they deserve it :) ) but his confusion may have come about as it was originally down to be a 2 day show with Gundogs scheduled for the Sunday. It even says as much in the SKC's show dates diary! However, if he was pulling a fast one, he's been rumbled and he should be punished most severely ;)

Ok Folks
I'm under the watchful eye as I type this so I'd better not mayke ne more miskates.
Truth is I do all the entries and my beautiful OH does all the other stuff like grooming bathing and clipping.
I made a mistake and thought the show was on Sunday but had a niggling doubt at the back of my head telling me to check the schedule which I was going to do. *DON'T LAUGH*
We will be there on Saturday after all and I'll be benched at the end of a row with a rolled up newspaper nearby looking exceptionally sorry for myself.
Apologies all and to my OH especially who "never" makes a mistake
Ouch

Yikes! A man admitting he was wrong

You've clearly got Doug extremely well trained Alli :)
Good luck on Saturday!
Lesley
Well I will be there on all 3 days as I help out in the Awards office so if anyone has spare time and wants to pop in and say hello it would be nice to meet you. I'll be showing one of my weimaraners on Saturday so will be around that ring for part of the time :-) No doubt walking out of the ring cardless but hey ho its the taking part that counts right ?! :D

Yep I'm going with my boxer girlie on Friday. It's our first benched show so will probably be looking a bit lost LOL.
Jen

Going on Sunday with Papillons, stop and say hello.

I'm going as a spectator on Saturday. First show I've been to and I'm really looking forward to it! :) Have promised to come back with lots of things for Roxy, hope neither of us are disappointed!
Am I right in thinking that it's held at Ingliston?
Also, can anyone advise me what time to aim to get there for? Are there normally queues for getting in?
Thanks for any advice.

Earl,
If you're having to use the Forth Road Bridge allow plenty of time. There aren't normally queues to get into Ingliston but more a long-ish trek from the carpark to the showground through that "lovely" carpark! If you are going "dog-less", then you will have to pay to get in, also money for the carpark too.
Money for a catalogue, if you want to check out the entries for the breeds your interested in and their rings to go watch them.
Then money for all that you buy too! I will be there at the side of the Munster ring, hopefully armed with a video camera!
Christine

Hope you all have a lovely time & good luck if you are showing
Jean
Better make sure I'm clean and tidy then,Christine. :D Or should I just hide behind the pole in the middle of the ring?

:D

Thanks for the info Christine.
I did notice that it said something on the SKC website about major road works on the A90 Forth Road Bridge, but thankfully that won't affect me coming from Glasgow.
Good luck to all those CDers showing.

I'll be taking my Weim dog for his first show in the minor puppy class. Starting to panic though as this is the first time I have shown, usually my hubby does it. He was supposed to be showing our bitch but she now has a womb infection and may end up having to be dressed depending on whether it will clear up or not, so we're dissappointed about that. If a bitch has to be dressed for medical reasons, is she still able to be shown or is that the end of her show days?

I asked this question for someone a while back and am sure as long as you inform kennel club its fine If I am not right someone will tell you what to do good luck showing the puppy

Hi Earl
Are you going to watch one specific breed? If you are try to find out what time judging starts for it. If not I would suggest getting there fairly early about 9.30-10.00ish so you can watch a bit of everything that is being judged and also to give you time to wander round and spend all your money on Roxy lol. I don't know about queues as I normally have an Exhibitor pass. We were lucky last year with the weather and I am hoping we are as lucky this year.
I'll be there with my Gordon and my Irish (well maybe my Iirsh, she is thinking about coming into season) Sunday would be good though lol.
Most of all enjoy yourself and chat to as many people you can.

Hi Alli
We want to see the toy poodles as Roxy's half sister is entered in this with her breeder. I believe it's at 9.30 am, so I'm aiming to be there early and then that will give me time to speak to her breeder after, see some other categories and shopping!
Good luck with your two (hopefully :) ).
Simone

Westie and rough collie aremy breeds I know the collies are Friday but cant go on Friday. Does anyone know what breeds are showing on Sunday Thanks
