ive just got this german shepherd bitch from a dog and cat home as she was found straying what i would.
like to know is she is more prorective in the house and has started to bark plus can i get my dog kennel.
registered as ive got no papers for her but she is a full breed and she always sits at my window when i go out whatching me do you think anyone would burgle my house with her in it d.girvan

No, it is not possible to get her registered on the breed register - only her breeder could do that. You could however register her on the Active register so she would be eligible to take part in obedience and agility competition.

As for whether anyone would burgle your house with her in it - who knows? Trained guard dogs have been stolen before now. It's best to assume that her presence will make no difference, and lock up securely as normal.

If you have no papers you cannot have her registered with the Kennel Club other than on the WT/Obedience register.

A lot of dogs bought as "guard dogs" get stolen every week!  A lot of dogs are "all mouth and no trousers" which is really what you want with a pet dog; be aware if you ARE burgled and your dog DOES bite, you can be sued!

In general most burglars avoid houses where barking draws attention to themselves, irrespective of the size of dog.

Anyone seeing your dog sitting in the window will not realise that this means you maybe out but if you want to discourage this then try stopping her access to the window.Gillian
