My one year old Rat terrier has been  diagnosed with central vestibular disease.  With this she is having seizures and has a left head tilt. Our vet has put her on Phenobarbitol and Doxycycline.   I don't really know much about it and was wondering if anyone has ever had a dog that has had this? And did they get better over time?  I would appreciate all of the help you could give me about this.

Our Damson (9 year old) is just recovering from a vestibular problem - it transpired that her ear-drum is perforated (too much gun work???) and the vet had been telling us to keep putting in ear drops, which was making the whole thing worse.   Our vets are nomally excellent, but this was a whoops!!

Your prognosis should be good
