My 7 month Staffie bitch Rio, has started peeing in the house again. I don't think I have ever been able to say she was 100% clean, but she hadn't done anything for ages. (she doesn't poo)
But over the last couple of weeks she's peed half a dozen times. Once she peed twice in the space of a few hours, and she'd been out in between. Luckly on laminate floors in kitchen and hall, but once on the carpet :(  If it was just once I'd think, well accidents happen, but it's to much all of a sudden.
These were some of my thoughts on it.
She has not had a season yet, so it could be coming up to that time. Would that cause her to pee more.
Also, some of you might know shes had kennel cough, so she's been on a couple of different drugs, antibiotic's and then steroids. when she went on the steroids about 12 ago was about the time she started, Could that have something to do with it, or is that just a coincident.
But she's not attemping to try and let us know, even if it is the case that she needs to go more.
For instance tonight my partner went in the hall to get his coat to go to the shop, she followed him out, as they do. He only turned round for a second to put his coat on, and when he turned back she was peeing on the floor. :( Which I thought was very strange, because if anyone puts a coat on in our house they automatically think they are going out too. So you would of thought she would of at least waited till he'd gone.
Anyone got any ideas why she's started this.

Do you think it could have anything to do with Ruby and the pup ?

I have no idea but will say Sal pees a lot more days maybe a week before she comes into season. But never in the house, maybe I'm just lucky.

Very often when a bitch is about to come into season they will start to pee in the house - but it might be worth getting her checked by a vet for UTI just in case.......

No Lel, It was about 10 days before pup arrived, good thinking though :D
