well a friend of mines bitch has been in season for almost 6 weeks,its her first one i saw her today and her vulva look huge and sore,ive advised her to take her to the vets as shes looks,very sore
what do you guys think?

I would think that it's an infection rather than her still being in season.  Hope she's OK.

my friend has an appointment at her vets tomorrow

Ive heard of some dogs bleeding more than others but not longer,certainly not for 6 wks,hope shes ok.Julia

had a call from my mate this morning her dog has an infection,but if she gets any worse or buy next shes still the same vet will spay her

Had a call from my friend in tears this morning,she had to rush her dog to vets for emergancy surgery,she had pyometra,i have spent the day with her and she called the vets earlier lucky her dog seems ok after the op the vets are keeping her in tonight and letting her home in the morning,thankfully she found this in time:(
