It varies from breed to breed, vet to vet. Best to ring round your local vets & find out from them. Shouldn't be too much for a little 'un!

hi guest
have you tried looking in to animal aid or pdsa
they may be able to help if you have 1 in your area
around here (S. Wales, Rhondda) if you are on any benefit you can have it done for £20 and this is for all breeds

Not sure if the size makes too much difference, they will use less general anaesthetic, but the job is more difficult, and the recovery needs more care than on a larger breed.

If you look at the breakdown of a bill for spaying the anaesthetic is quite a big chunk of it, so a small dog costs a lot less than a big one - it is at our vet's anyway. I would say
all breeds need the same recovery care. If I had a really small breed though, I'd want a vet with better eyesight than me :D (& a steadier hand)!
i paid £120 for my lab bitch to be spayed and £90 for my spaniel dog to be casturated, at a guess i would say any where between these prices but could be less depending on where you are, im in essex where vet prices and insurance rates are sky high
