Not much help this time I know, but next time you could get her some 'bitch knickers' (sorry don't know their proper name, we call them 'bitch knickers' at our house) they should stop the staining if she will keep them on!

Hi Guest, try a little white wine, this may remove blood, when fresh, not sure about dried blood though,

I think they are called 'Dog hygine pants' and you can buy them in a pet shop but not sure how much they are.  Probably cheaper and more fun to make your own :)

Hi

She may bleed for full  21 days, maybe up to 6 weeks or perhaps only a week. Its hard to tell. It differs from dog to dog. My girl Luna a labrador just finished bleeding last sunday after 19 days. My friends GSD only bled for a week.

I can't help you with spots, but perhaps prevent the dog jumping up in the furniture :-)

Luna is not allowed in my furniture or my bed for exactly that reason. She has blankets in the bedroom and duvets in her baskets and on the livingroomfloor. She doesn't really use them though. She lies next to my chair on the carpet.

I vaccuumed (sp?) the drips on the carpet after a few days, when they had dried really well, so they kind of went to dust.

Hello Guest Staffords are normally in season like most dogs for 3 weeks I would think she will may bleed for about 14 days as a guide only; but do remember to keep her away from MALE dogs for 3 weeks.

Hi

Yeah so would I, but my vet said it. I must admit I'm starting to doubt my vet after being a member on this board:-)

Now I cana ask you: If Luna bled 19 days, would her season still "only" last 21 days?
