Hi all

I'm thinking of buying a blaster/dryer and wondered if any of you use them and if so which ones you would reccommend. I have Belgians who have a thick double coat whcih needs to be presented as harsh and standing away from the body. I'm not too far from Dezyna Dogs main shop in Kings Lynn and was planning to go and have a look this weekend but could use a little guidance on make, model and the kind of price I should be looking at.

Many thanks

I use a Simpson's blaster and Simpson's Turbo Dryer.  Both have been in daily use professionally for 16 years and 14 year respectively.  The dryer was replaced (and the old one passed on to a Rough Collie breeder!) two years ago!
I buy seperate items for the same reason that I don't have a washer/dryer or fridge/freezer, because if one fails then I don't have to replace both, but I have found Simpson's products completely reliable and I shouldn't have worried!!

Val has all the experience needed to answer this question :D but I will add that once you've got one, you'll wonder how you ever lived without it!!!

Yes - that's what everyone has said - so I'm hoping my dogs will be ok with it !.
