My girl is due to whelp around the 2nd of May, this morning when i took her out for a wee, a long piece of slime was hanging from her vulva, could this be the plug? and if so how long does it usually take for the contractions to start?

my girl had this yesterday morning,  by 12.24 last night we had 10 pups!!

she started around 3pm in the afternoon, had the first pup at 6 the rest followed pretty soon after!!

bit of a shock seeing as we were expecting about 4!!

good luck, have you been taking her temp? thats usually another good indication of when they start,
join up and keep us updated!
