Hi Everyone
I have not posted on here for a while now but i do generally try to read the posts...
You may remeber me from last year as my girl was accidentally mated and we continued with the pregnancy... Well to cut a long story short all the pups got new homes etc... but i now have a pup that needs rehoming. The dog has become a little aggressive, and nipped the familys child.. I personally do not believe that the dog is aggressive but i do think he is bored in his home... i personally am not in a position to keep him as i have 4 already and a baby due in 2 months so i do not have the time to give him with regard to training.. However i have spoken to a couple who brought one of his litter brothers and they would like to take him... As you can probably guess i am new to this, However i have suggested a t least one meet on nuetral ground for the dogs and then one in the home as they do not wish to upset their current dog... is this enough? Any advice gladly accepted.

I was in exactly the same position last week. I had to rehome one of my litter pups far a variety of reasons one of which was that he bit three children not a single aggressive move did he make on mine and the family we rehomed him to had two older children and he was great with them aswell. You are right to suggest meeting on neutral ground first.
If they have children then get them to come and see the pup aswell to see how the pup reacts with them as these pups will not have the same personality and you will know if the pup has a problem with children.
Good luck with everything.
Keep us posted and I mean about baby too :)

Thanks Naomi
These people do not have children.. which is a bonus and i really think that this pup has been porrly trained.. ie let get away with murder and he just thinks he is above his station ... I have no qualms that he can be re trained out of these bad habits as he is only 9 months old but i am just want the move to go smoothly as this new couple do not wwant to upset the dog thety have now as he is really well trained already

My pup was 11 weeks old. Hadn't had his injections and was being very poorly looked after. My post was under general and the title was 'I feel a faliure' if you want to read it.
Having to rehome a puppy is bad at the best of times but when you see it being mistreated for yourself as I did and couldn't do a lot about it as it was a friend who had him it is even worse.
Hope everything goes well for you.
When are you planning on doing this meet?
