Hello, can someone please advice on the correct way to feed my pup, he is a choc lab on Burns mini bites at the moment and doing fine but a couple of people have told me I should also be giving him milk. Is this right? and if so, what sort and how miuch?

No animal that has been weaned needs milk; most dogs do not have the enzyme lactase needed to process milk sugar (lactose) and some are allergic to milk protein (casein); milk can cause diarrhoea and wind!  There is nothing in milk that a dog cannot get from a more appropriate source.  Burns is a very good commercial dry food.
