Amy is nine months nearly she is a rough collie. She is chewing for Scotland at the moment. Do puppies teeth bother them at this age. She has loads of toys but seems to prefer shoes its costing me a fortune. My fault entirely I should lay them away. I just wondered if her mouth will be sore.  :-)

She will probably be cutting or finishing cutting her back teeth which can make dogs start chewing again

Plenty of really chewy thing for her to chomp on should help

Jean, tell you what's great to soothe teething gums, frozen carrots (whole) or place a wrung out and knotted tea towel in the freezer wait until solid then give to chew, they don't stay frozen for very long so I used to have a rota system of about 6 on the go.

Hi Jean

My 8 month old cocker spaniel had just started to chew everything in sight, yesterday it was the skirting board :(  Here was me thinking I was really lucky because he didn't chew anything at all when his big teeth came through.
