Hi
Can anyone help. I live in Southampton and am looking for a German Shepherd Breeder within a ten mile radius.
Many thanks

There is more to getting a dog than distance.
You must be prepared to travel as far as necessary to get a good, healthy pup....at the end of the day, that is more important.
Ensure the breeder has done and as proof of all necessary tests.

What I did when I was looking for a puppy was to look on the net at the Kennel Club, and the show results. Then I searched for particular successful breeders that I was interested in (lots of them have there own websites) and contacted them. Another thing you could do is see if there are any shows that you can attend, and that is an excellent opportunity to meet breeders and maybe the parents of your future puppy!!!!
P.S you dont have to be interested in showing yourself to go and look at the shows. They provide an ideal opportunity.

Hi Anna, are you looking for a show type GSD or an English bred long coat? If it is the latter you may contact me if you like and I can put you in touch with people in your area. (click on my username) I do not breed myself but I do have a stud dog who is used regularly but you may still have to be prepared to travel as his offspring are dotted around the country, although there is a litter due in Southampton.
Debbie :)
