MY 3 YEAR OLD POODLE INSISTS ON RUBBING HERSELF ON ANY DEAD ANIMAL OR BIRD WE ENCOUNTER ON WALKS DOES ANTONE KNOW WHY?

It's natural dog behaviour to disguise their own scent to enable them to hunt better.

I had a similar problem with my cocker spaniel, we have pot bellied pigs and she was always rolling in the poop!!! everytime she could get into there pen, she also licked to pick it up and bring it into the house, disguise her smell, god we knew it was her and exactly where she was but it does seem to be a natural doggy action :-)
