can anyone tell me at what age should you start having a westie trimmed ??

I'm no expert but I don't think they are trimmed.

A westie can be trimmed from an early age. As a young puppy their ears can be tidied up, hair removed around their eyes, around the bottom and chest can be tidied up  etc.

Once they get a little older ( 4-6 months) they can be hand stripped out by an experienced person.
