I am wanting to buy a miniature chocolate brown female poodle. Ive just lost mine after 15yrs, she was JUST UNDER A MINITURE and I would prefer that size. She was a very dark  chocolate brown just beautiful and a pedigree - I did not show her she was a member of our family - a 4-legged person and a very loving pet.. I got her from a breeder in South Austraila I no longer live in that state.
Hope you can help me - I am not familiar with breeders here - some that I have seen dont look too nice - I went to a pet show and was not impressed by the calibre of the dogs on show.

Thank you

Hi Guest, so sorry to hear about your loss.  We have always had toy poodles in our family and I know how heartbreaking it is when you lose them.  :(

The Kennel Club website or Pet Plan have lists of breeders with puppies available.  Sorry, don't know how to do links, but the KC address is http://www.the-kennel-club.org.uk/ and go to the section at top "Dog Register".  Pet Plan is http://www.petplan.co.uk/community/community_find2.asp?animal=dog.

Good luck in your search.  Let us know how you get on.

I wondered about that, but thought that maybe they'd moved over to the UK.

Thanks Archer.
