Has anybody tried this yet? I feed by two Border Collies on the other flavours but am unsure about this as I had heard people were having problems. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

My dogs loved it and I only stopped using it because I found it crumbled rather easy. What were your worries about it, are your dogs doing well on it, that is the main concered because what suits one dog may not suit another.
Hi there
No I havent tried them on it yet. I had mentioned it to the shop I get the Burns from and they said they didnt get in because not many people liked it. I dont know what problems, if any, there are.

Would guess the main reason people don't like it is it's price. Also Burns are fussy who they allow to sell their product preferring small outlets with experienced staff.

Hi dvnbiker
My boys are fed Burns, and I tried the venison variety. To be honest, I can't quite put my finger on why it was so, but I just felt they weren't doing as well by it as I would have liked. Sorry to be so vague, but often with dogs you sometimes just get the feeling something isn't right! They went back onto lamb and rice and I'm entirely satisfied with how they do on that.

Found mine did well on it and loved it but I found the amount of dust a problem.

Yes, the dust! Even the lamb and rice produces a fair bit! Our feed bin holds a bag and a half, and the dust in the bottom when they've eaten their way through it would feed them another couple of meals if only I could work out a way to compress it back into the little shapes :D Mind you, I'm sure they could be fed the dust, but I don't think my boys would take too kindly to it; they do like a meal that they can crunch through. That being said, I'm so glad I discovered Burns - quite the best brand I've used.
